Sebastián focuses his practice on Corporate Law and Compliance at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil. His work centres on advising domestic and international companies on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), the structuring of shareholder agreements and corporate governance.

He has extensive experience advising companies on their day-to-day operations, drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate reorganisations, regulatory compliance and relations with authorities, providing a strategic vision aligned with business objectives.

In addition, he advises local and foreign companies on Compliance and Personal Data Protection matters, including the design and implementation of Compliance Programmes, Models for the Prevention of Crimes and breaches of Personal Data regulations, internal investigations and the mitigation of legal risks, with a particular emphasis on anti-corruption.
