José Joaquín is one of the founding partners of the firm, where he advises companies in various sectors, such as real estate, construction, mining, and investment funds. He also heads BSVV’s Real Estate Department, where he focuses his practice on real estate, regulatory, and land use planning for residential, commercial, and industrial projects of all kinds, covering aspects such as corporate structure, financing, bankruptcy, and regulatory disputes.
He also advises international mining clients on the development and operation of their projects in Chile, where he has extensive experience in advising on operational projects, environmental assessments, and complex negotiations with communities and stakeholders.
José Joaquín also mediates in commercial mediation processes as an alternative method of dispute resolution and has been recognized by Chambers and Partners for his practice in the Real Estate area since 2023.
