BSVV advised Southern Copper Corporation in the negotiation of exploration and mining option contracts to search for metallic minerals (copper, gold and molybdenum). The areas to be explored are located in the communes of Antofagasta and María Elena, Region II.

In the event that the exploration yields positive results in accordance with the contract terms, new mining companies will be established. Southern Copper Corporation and SQM will be shareholders of those companies and will carry out the exploitation of the metallic deposits found.
