Joaquín García-Huidobro lectures on ethics at BSVV
.SHAREAcademic Joaquín García-Huidobro visited Barros Silva Varela & Vigil to talk to the firm's lawyers about ethics and how this should be the fundamental principle guiding our professional life.
Joaquín García-Huidobro is a lawyer from the University of Chile, holds a PhD in Law from the Austral University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, Spain. He is a full professor at the Universidad de Los Andes, where he teaches the course on Ethics and Research Methodology. He has published 16 individual books and 6 co-authored books, as well as more than 130 articles and book chapters. He has received scholarships from institutions such as the Andes Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He is also a columnist for the newspaper El Mercurio, where he analyses national events.
