Court issued an order suspending collection of fine of UF 51,500 imposed by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications against Sociedad Marítima y Comercial Somarco Limitada. The Civil Court ruled the complete suspension of the Ministry’s resolution.

This resolution constitutes a relevant precedent for the subsequent discussion that will take place before the Court with regard to the grounds under which the fine was imposed by the Ministry.
