WherEX issues SAFE for US $5 million

Barros Silva Varela & Vigil advised WherEX in the issuance of a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) for up to US $5 million. This involved the coordination of the company's UK legal team to meet the expectations of the investors and WherEX.

With the capital increase, WherEX continues to advance in its international expansion plans, which began in 2020 with its entry into Peru and gained momentum in 2021 with its presence in Mexico.

Sebastián heads the Compliance and Corporate practice at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil. He focuses his practice primarily on corporate governance, design and implementation of crime prevention programs (Law 20.393 and Law 19.913) with the purpose of mitigating risks for companies. He has extensive experience advising domestic and foreign companies and investment funds on contracts, financing, shareholders' agreements and general corporate practice, in areas as varied as finance, agriculture, shipping, energy and mining.
