BSVV advised Southern Copper Corporation (a subsidiary of Grupo México) in a legal transaction with the State Defense Council for the easement of the El Montonero mining project

After more than five years of litigation in civil headquarters and the Court of Appeals, the State Defense Council in session of October 27 agreed to accept the proposal for a judicial settlement formulated by Southern Copper Corporation.

The Montonero Project is located north of the town of Salado, Atacama Region.

The mining easement is granted for the entire useful life of the mining project and will cover an area of ​​more than 2,500 hectares.

The parties were able to sign the transaction deed and the easement constitution that seals the agreement.
